This kind of reminds me of a contemporary version of “American Gothic”. Just this time a child is added to the picture. Along with the kid the family itself looks less intimidating. I love how the picture has a little more realistic look to it then “American Gothic”. The family looks pretty peaceful, however I have yet to figure out why the mother is looking up into the heavens.
